Hi Will,
I work in Actuarial Review and my team is responsible for producing and reviewing the post-diversified risk capital (SCR) reported on the balance sheet. Previously we used an outsource model to derive the SCR. Due to it's incompatibility with other platforms used by the company , it was agreed that building an in-house model would be preferable and reduce the working days in a valuation period. the company supported the build, testing and implementation of the new model and we are seeing the benefits now in the valuation period, and also in the sensitivities being used by the company to make business decisions.
