Within each role there will be certain training that is required to do your role. If you do not already have the skills you will be supported by either attending training courses or on the job training. Development is a two way thing and is agreed at the beginning of the year with your manager and supported and tracked as you go through the year. For example all the BAs within the company will be supported through an external training course to achieve a diploma. And should you wish to progress further an advanced diploma is also available.
You need to have a clear direction of what areas you want to develop in and discuss this with your manager on a regular basis. The company also provides a catalogue of courses that can be searched to find the skills you require and some of this is online learning. So to answer your question the company is very supportive of development and training of our staff.
There is wealth of learning opportunities here and the proposition for colleagues is ever-growing. Most recently we have been working on introducing a new digital solution to make learning new skills at the company as easy and simple as possible - with this came the launch of LinkedIn Learning. Personally, I am loving this new resource to learn new skills, the options are endless!
