For me personally as a senior risk manager its the variety of work I get involved in which I really enjoy. Broadly, work can range from supporting Management with day to day risk management through to deep dive assurance work on particular topics. The nature of work also varies from customer facing activities such as reviewing communications being sent through to diverse topics such as taxation and cyber security. My role also takes me to various geographical locations around the UK and occasional overseas trips. All this means I get to meet a wide range of individuals across the organisation and disciplines whilst undertaking varied and interesting work, which all adds up to a role where I feel I really add value.
