Helly R. asked a question to Debbie F.
Hi. Absolutely it is possible to work flexibly in this role, in fact it is encouraged by the company. I find, as a manager, that hybrid working is best so I do 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home each week. The two days in the office allow for face-to-face discussions with the team to check on their wellbeing and ensure they are comfortable with allocated work. I also have the opportunity to work 10 days worth of hours in 9 days giving me one day off every fortnight, meaning I have a really good work-life balance. Some companies might think a manager has to be in the office all the time but I find this flexibility helps me as a person so I'm a better manager because of it.
